I do this not out of disgust but instead elaboration.
Everything comes down to raw natural instinct,
But what is more what raw than the will to survive?
Death of course.
Mortality is a beautiful fate that laughs in my face,
Mocking me dearly.
You see i am haunted by this dreadful curse of immortality,
This wretched bane of existence.
It is why i surround myself with the most precious mortal substance.
I call it the art of self mutilation.
